1. Current status
OcuDock is currently presented through this website for B2B demonstrations and does not accept subscription purchases online. The legal entity particulars and registered Information Officer needed to finalise a formal section 51 PAIA manual have not yet been published. They must be completed, attorney-reviewed and made available before commercial launch; this page does not pretend that an incomplete template is a final PAIA manual.
Requests can still be submitted now using the contact details below and will be handled in good faith under the applicable access and privacy requirements.
2. How to submit a request
Email hello@ocudock.app with the subject “PAIA request” or “POPIA request”. Please include enough information to identify:
- your full name and preferred contact details;
- the record or personal information you are requesting;
- the right you want to exercise and why the record is required, where PAIA requires it;
- your relationship to the relevant customer, supplier or delivery workflow;
- your preferred access format; and
- proof of identity or authority to act for another person, where reasonably required.
Do not send identity documents or other sensitive information until the request channel and need for that information have been confirmed.
3. Records potentially held
Subject to the relevant customer relationship and retention period, records may include:
- corporate, governance, tax, finance and statutory records;
- customer, supplier, carrier and service-provider agreements;
- employment, contractor and internal policy records;
- product, intellectual-property, security and technology records;
- account, support, booking, arrival, receiving, exception, communication and audit records; and
- personal information described in the OcuDock privacy notice.
Access is not automatic. A request may be transferred to the customer that controls the record, or refused where PAIA, POPIA, confidentiality, legal privilege, security or another lawful ground requires or permits it.
4. Process, timing and fees
We will acknowledge the request, verify the appropriate responsible party or record holder, request clarification if needed and communicate the outcome within the period required by applicable law. Prescribed PAIA request, search, preparation or reproduction fees may apply. No payment should be made unless a written fee notice is issued through a verified channel.
5. Complaints and official guidance
The Information Regulator publishes the official PAIA guide and request forms, including Form 02 for access to a record. It also provides POPIA forms for objections, correction or deletion, and complaints.
If a concern cannot be resolved directly, you may contact or complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa).
